TUMBLING GYMNASTICS INTERCLUB 2013

The Tumbling Gymnastics Interclub 2013 was organized on Saturday 29 June 2013 at Sir Leckraj Teelock SSS Gymnasium in Flacq. The event was a major achievement in terms of organisation, number of participants, quality of those participants and press coverage. Indeed, more than 70 gymnasts from 4 clubs participated in this competition and the event was covered by the MBC TV. Various articles also appeared in some renowned newspapers. The event was sponsored by Bullet Energy Drink and Société Kasthraj. The jury panel consisted of Suraj Greedharry, Gopaul Mardaymootoo and Iana de Morelos. At the end of the competition, the Sly Ninjas Gymnastics Club was ranked first with 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 6 gold medals. The second place went to the Unicorn Gymnastics Club of Cottage which won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. The Grand River South East Gymnastics Club was ranked third with 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. The University of Mauritius Gymnastics Club marked its presence with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
